All of my silk painting products are made of natural silk therefore it is important to know how to treat the fabric to avoid unpleasant surprises. Dye is lasting on natural silk and does not deteriorate after washing, however there are few instructions to keep in mind to retain the colour when washing natural

silk fabric. Natural silk shall be carefully hand-washed in warm water and fabric should not be not rubbed. It is better that the water is cooler. Please add mild silk or wool washing detergent to the water. Also soap can be used. After washing the silk can be ironed on low iron setting suitable for silk.
